A Craigslist notice and emails purporting to be from “Mark Meizner from Team Factors” offer US$400 for completing a ‘Western Union survey’ involving a promise to pay in return for transferring money. There is and has never been any such person here.
We are a legitimate company that someone calling themselves "Mark Meizner" is unlawfully trying to use our details to help their activities appear legitimate. The email addresses used are clearly not Team Factors' email addresses, and there are a number of other indicators of the 'survey' being illegitimate. Asking to transfer money via Western Union is also an obvious element in many scams and unlawful money laundering activities.
If you have had any dealings with "Mark Meizner" we suggest that you keep all evidence and immediately contact your local police or federal agency and lodge a complaint with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (mention complaint ID: 10806291721116891). You may also wish to contact other parties used in this fraud, such as Yahoo, Earthlink, and Western Union.
Our real contact details are on the “Contact Us” page.
